FULL SERVICE FURNISHING
CONSTRUCTION DESIGN
DESIGN DAY
Experience bespoke design creation with our Full Service Interior Design. Tailored to each project this service can include design boards, floor plans, renderings, custom furnishings, cabinetry and millwork design, order & project management, installation and styling. Nicole, alongside her skilled team will manage every detail of your interior furnishing project, from collaborating with tradesmen to expertly cultivating and curating your unique vision of home. Enjoy a truly personalized, guided and stress-free design journey. This service is ideal for large-scale furnishing projects.
This service is great for builders or clients undertaking a New Build or Major Remodel or Addition Projects. Beginning from preliminary architectural plans or by creating as-built drawings representing an existing space. This service is tailored to each project and may include blueprint review or creation of plans, interior elevations, 3D renderings, architectural details, ceiling designs, built-in cabinetry, fireplace design, millwork plans, creation of spec books, contractor collaboration, and ongoing project management. Additionally, we source and select fixtures, colors and finish materials to complete your design.
For clients working through smaller projects, our team is available for an 8 hour Design Day experience. Aimed at providing clients with a detailed design plan that they can implement on their own without all the second guessing and overwhelm. This quick turnaround service includes floor plans, design boards, shopping lists and access to trade only furnishings. Designed for clients who don’t need project management and feel comfortable executing a plan on their own. Design Days are provided on a limited basis as we only offer a few sessions per month alongside our Full Service Design schedule.
Our Process
Our Full Service Design process is centered around collaboration and connection of vision. Before pencil is placed to paper, the look and feel of a project is developed and clearly established to align with our client's specific needs and vision of home. Inspiration is curated, communicated, and laced together into a consistent aesthetic – the hallmark of a Hill & Highland home. A well-defined vision allows for a cohesive project from start to finish, with a consistent feeling that weaves itself through the architecture and interior details.
PHASE ONE: DISCOVERY
Each project begins with a kick-off meeting, where we will visit the site to take measurements and photographs or, in the case of new construction projects, finalize the layout. We will also gather as much information as we can in the form of questionnaires and visual inspiration. Together, we will review the design direction and initial concepts, as well as parameters like budget and timelines. This phase concludes with a presentation of the Conceptual Design to ensure our goals are aligned.
PHASE TWO: DESIGN
During this phase, we take all of the information gathered in Phase One and pour ourselves into creating a fully custom home that will enhance and support your everyday. Throughout this stage, a lot of work is happening behind the scenes, but our team will provide weekly updates so you know what to expect. Our team will be hard at work pulling together all the elements to bring your design to life. We'll create floor plans and elevations, source fixtures and furnishings, and select finishes to create your bespoke design. This phase concludes with a Final Design Presentation including elevations, design boards, renderings, fabric swatches, finish samples, tear sheets, and proposals. If necessary, we will make any final design revisions at this time before moving on to phase three.
PHASE THREE: PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Once the design plan is approved and your proposals have been paid, our team will begin ordering, tracking, and ensuring all selections and furnishings arrive correctly at our white glove delivery receiving warehouse. During this time, we will also be collaborating with your contractor or tradespeople via on-site meetings and periodic walkthroughs to ensure every detail is executed perfectly.
PHASE FOUR: INSTALLATION
The final phase is when the magic happens...your installation! Once construction is complete, we will coordinate the installation of furnishings, art, accessories, and soft goods. Every piece will be assembled, placed, and styled with care, leaving you a fully turnkey space to enjoy. This phase concludes with a photoshoot and walk through to ensure every detail is perfect and any punch list items have been remedied.
